What area do you cover?

We are based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and offer free delivery, set up and collection to locations in Aylesbury and within a 5 mile radius of HP20 1QZ.

An additional charge of 90p per mile will be charged for sleepovers outside of our free delivery zone, to cover both return journeys and the additional booking time required.  

Greater distances may be subject to a minimum order of tents. Please get in touch to find out more.

What is the hire period?

We will discuss your individual requirements with you when you make your booking; however, we generally deliver in the afternoon on the day of the sleepover and pick up in the morning the following day.

Do you set up the sleepover equipment?

Yes. We will deliver the hire equipment to you and set up. Set up takes between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the number of tents.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to have cleared sufficient space to allow us to do this, prior to arrival.

We will return at the end of the hire period and pack away any Top N Tail Sleepovers™ hire equipment. This can take up to 45 minutes.

How much space do I need for an indoor sleepover?

Each tent and mattress needs a minimum of 140cm (length) x 85cm (width). The tent frames are screwed together in place and aren’t flexible so can’t be squeezed into spaces.

The tray table is usually positioned at the end of the mattress. We will require an extra 40cm for the tray, providing it is going in front of the tent. If space is limited the trays can be placed closed on the mattress, placed in front or to the side of the tents or elsewhere in the room. We are quite resourceful in making space work so please always ask.   

What age range are the sleepovers suitable for?

Our equipment is suitable for children from the age of 4 years up to approximately 11 years old. Our sleepovers are not suitable for children aged 3 years and younger.

Please note that children under the age of 18 years old must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult which is normally the hirer.

What do the children sleep on and is bedding provided?

We provide 14cm thick foam mattresses with a waterproof cover and a mattress protector. They are manufactured in the UK and are compliant with UK Health and Safety standards. We also provide a fitted sheet, themed blankets and themed cushions. We do not provide duvets, pillows and pillow cases.

All bedding is laundered before each use.

Can we use the tents outside?

Our tents, equipment and accessories are for indoor sleepovers only and must not be taken outside.

What is the minimum or maximum number you cater for?

A minimum of two tents (or one friendship tent) and a maximum of 10 tents.

What is included in the price for an indoor sleepover?

Free delivery and collection within a 5 mile radius of HP20 1QZ.  

Each child will have an individual tent and themed cover and a mattress with a waterproof cover, mattress protector and fitted sheet.

Themed accessories including cushions and blankets, a tray table, battery operated lights, garlands and/or bunting. The room is set up as per our agreed time and then we return the following day to pack everything away.  

​Do I need a power supply?

No.  All our lights are battery powered.

What happens if there is damage to one of the tents or accessories?

Don't worry we understand accidents happen which is why we ask for a Damage Deposit which is refundable after the event. In the event of any damage we will contact you to discuss. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full information which details the procedure in the event of damage.

​​What is your cancellation policy?

​We understand that things don't always go to plan and there maybe a need for you to change the date or even cancel your booking.  If this happens please let us know as soon as you can and we will see what we can do to help.  Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details of our policy.

​Do you have insurance?

Yes we have Public Liability insurance, are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) Reference ZA860687 and we are DBS checked.
